Golden Visa

The Greek Golden Visa program provides third-country citizens and their families a residence permit for Greece, renewed every five (5) years for as long as they have the property in their possession, as well as the possibility to travel freely to all Schengen-countries. Family members includes spouses, children who are under the age of 21 and parents. Golden Visa allows the investor and his family to have free access to the Greek health system and their children may attend Greek educational institutions (schools, universities etc.). The applicant is not required to live in Greece prior or during the Golden Visa application, or even after residency has been granted.

The applicant must invest in real estate in Greece a total value of at least 250,000 euros as specified in the relevant legislation.

The applicants who have made an investment through the Greek Golden Visa program can apply for a residence permit through a proxy, without the obligation to previously visit Greece. The Power of Attorney for the appointment of a proxy, must be signed before a Greek Consular authority. The applicant must enter Greece within a period of 12 months,  from the date of the confirmation, in order to submit his biometric data.
